The Guidelines of Recall Dehumidifiers Cutting Power Cord
Step 1: Turn off and stop using the dehumidifier.
Step 2: Unplug the dehumidifier's power cord from the electrical outlet and make sure the dehumidifier is powered off.
Step 3: Verify that the brand mark and product model number of the dehumidifier match the Recall Press Release.
Step 4: Please reconfirm that the dehumidifier's power cord is unplugged from the outlet and powered off, then use a tool to cut the power cord along the root of the dehumidifier's power cord, making sure that the length of the power cord left behind and protruding from the dehumidifier is no more than 1 inch, and at the same time, please do not remove the warning label on the power cord, as shown in the picture below




Step 5: Please carefully peel off the nameplate identification, and mail the nameplate identification, a cut-off portion of the power cord containing the electrical plug together to the address specified by Sedgwick.
